Hi Brian,
its me just droppin' by to make yer happy life miserable..well no.. I can't match the latest radioactive fallout in japan, but I may be a close 2nd place, yes? Do ya want a live jetstream link to see where ya live get dosed?
Just yankin' yer chain dude, don't be upset. Andrew banned me for life on his forum 'cuz I divulged the presence of a secret forum within his forum, by invitation only. It contains the same usual suspects like Roger, Sheila, Sandy, Tingra, Eginolf and most likely all of his pagan-heathen buddies ya see on his Highgate hi-jinx section.
I will let the folks I still keep in contact with via e-mail to drop by here and get a friendlier, chittier-chattier collection of folks who have their own lil' niche re: RLC enigma to chit-chat about.
Ya see there was a brief exit for the doors on Andrews' forum when the red-herring waves on The Rise were at their zenith. The slide over forum was called RLC Masters forum.
That went tits up a year or so down the line. The domain name has been grabbed by a spam outfit. The latest hullabaloo over sumfin called The Crista is causin' same suspects to fall back to a new version of RLC Masters forum, which has yet to surface.
So, why not attract disenchanted folks from Arcadia forum who prefer light hearted banter. I will ask my e-mail contacts who are still on Andrews forum to pm this genteel krowd and see who shows up.
Ya see before I cash in my chips, I wanna do a low-level hang glider video film over the entire area of RLC to see the sacred geometry from a bird's eye view. Newer video cameras have a GPS function built in which allows for on the spot localization.
That function alone will resolve many disputes as to what exact location any given point of contention lies at in reference to a geometrical pattern. My idea is to fly/scan the entire area east to west, starting from the south, then re-fly /scan the area again from the north goin' west to east to allow for landscape anomalies.
Then do the same startin' down in the SE corner then fly north-south
to the northwest corner. The overall effect will be a checkerboard approach where each square segment can be seen from all 4 sides.
Ya can't do that with google earth, which appears to be a south sitting satellite shootin' its photo's at a northward angle. An even more daring experiment, if allowed by French aviation authorities, is to set up a laser beam pointing skyward on a moonless night, and position all of these laser lights on top of points traditionally used to make all of the various sacred geometry patterns.
The idea is to do a higher up in altitude, most likely a fast tethered hot air balloon in the so-called center of all of the sacred geometry patterns and photo sequence these laser beams around 3-4AM to minimize auto or truck headlight glare.
The objective here is to see how all of these laser light points would appear to appease the esoteric New Age portal, UFO or ET krowd enthusiasts.
Would these laser lights attract a UFO? would it go to Bugarach or Cardou and be a reminiscent scene from Strange Encounters of a 3rd Kind or ET? The extrapolation possibilities are endless, yes?
I know this ain't at the heart of the RLC enigma, but ya know as AINO would say, ya gotta start somewhere, yes?
Once this exercise in trivia is completed, more mundane stuff like analyze the hang glider videos to see how an invading army chose which valleys to attack specific places like Montsegur, RLC , Perillos.
Better still would be to find traces of deep rutted tracks created by solid wood wheeled carts which transported the war toys of bygone era's. There is a dearth of concrete info of this type in the Aude area.
I'd like to film a La Sanch procession from the air perspective as well and compare the more known locations to see if they replicate any patterns. Hey, if yer gonna go airborne, why not go all out and see what's there to be seen.
I'd like to re-trace tombman Ben's meanderings from clue to clue to see how that unfolded, aerial-wise. Does it conform to a Fibonacci spiral for instance. Like I say, I made these suggestions to the so-called pro's who lurk + haunt the Arcadia forum and got no takers for discussion.
Gimme some feedback Brian so that when folk show up to see what's bein' served up, it won't be the same ye olde medieval squabbles of how many angels can squat on the tip of a needle, as is the case on the Arcadia forum.
Hey..if a resurgence of rehashing the premises of The Rise or The Crista is sum buddy's bag, give them a corner to cluster in and let them bash away, yes?
It'd be nice if they could replicate cold fusion while they are at it, yes? ... if ya get my drift... gotta keep it scientific, no?
